“I was introduced to this hidden gem in March of this year. Right around the corner from the hectic Bleeker and Christopher Street intersection, Buvette has become somewhat of an obsession.
I try and go there anytime I can sneak in an early morning breakfast (Belgian Waffles), a weekend brunch (steamed eggs with salmon and capers) or one of my favorites, an afternoon vin chaud and cheese platter. From the carafes they use to serve water to the paper quality and typeface on their menus and the petite silverware they use, the attention to detail and the feeling of authenticity throws my senses into overload.
