The best way to assess a fall collection’s success is how hard it has you wishing bathing suit season was over, ready to bid farewell to happy sunny days, longing for knits, (rain,) wintery florals and dare I say, thick outerwear. A couple weeks ago, I popped by Yigal Azrouël’s midtown office, and his Cut 25 collection did just that! If not for the rad leather bomber jackets, than most certainly for the sweet anorak that comes with detachable wool, fleece, and beige twill pleat – has Man Repeller stamped across it. Peep the photo selection below to watch how I styled myself into five fall ready looks.

Look 1: Cut25 Fall 2011 Shearling Anorak & Cut25 Resort 2012 Leather and Silk Dress

With a leather bodice and ivory pleated dress underneath, the anorak gives the elegant feel a little more grunge. I threw in wedges for good measure.
Look 2: Cut25 Resort 2012 Orange Pant & Yellow Printed Top

Fall, it is a’comin, and color blocking isn’t going anywhere. Let’s let out a collective sigh of relief while we applaud the implementation of neon sticking it out, eh?
Look 3: Cut25 Resort Printed Maxi Dress and Cut25 Fall 2011 Fisherman’s Sweater
Vive le maxi skirts! Well, this is a dress. Likely too form flattering for any respectable man repeller to wear, and so, a chunky knit equipped with leather collar.
Look 4: Cut25 Resort Printed Maxi Skirt & Leather Vest

Consider the above look day friendly, and try this for a more casual dinner. Between you and me “put a vest on it” is a good fall mantra to adopt.
Look 5 : Cut25 Fall 2011 Duffle Coat & Lace Top
And finally, the trench coat. For when you’re looking to get in touch with your inner Park Avenue self. Perfect for a stroll down Madison if I may say so myself.
